2020's Finally A Wrap....What Next?....Hey 2021!

Hello my lovely readers,
This is my first blogpost.... of 2021 of course, it's been a while. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas ?

I just want to use this medium to appreciate you and to be thankful for all your support. Honestly the motivation, inspiration and the passion I have for writing comes from your love and guidance.
It fuels me a lot and for that I am ever grateful to every single one of you.

2020 was quite the unprecedented year don't you say?
The world faced a global pandemic, there was at every point in time a feud or protest on many occasions and the events of the year go on and on. Honestly whether you realize it or not, you've been through a whole lot this year.

I just want you to know that you are an amazing person inside and out
Yes! You!
You are so strong, beautiful and independent. This year might have been your toughest year yet but here you are.
You're still standing!
No matter the things you went through this year and the things you're still going through, It may have been a loss of a loved one, money issues, family issues, a bad breakup, academic problems and the list is endless. I want you to stand up, beat your chest and say "Yes! I'm still standing"

God is ever faithful and for that we should be ever grateful. I wish you a prosperous new year and I know that greater things await you. I'm not saying things won't follow you from 2020 but I'm saying "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" so you'll beat whatever obstacle that comes your way.

Today spend time with the ones you love, your friends, family and just be surrounded by joy and happiness. You deserve that much to begin the New year ahead.

I'll leave you with a "Good Vibes for 2021" playlist I created with the help of my friends. I hope you'll listen and enjoy and I can assure you this is our first encounter of many for the year 2021.

Lots of love,
Alero.✨

5 Signs That You're Afraid Of Getting Rejected ( based on personal relationships )

Hey guys, I'm glad you're back here.        I'm really excited about this particular piece because in many ways it's really personal. It took me quite a while to get it done to this point and I had some help from so many people. I know most people clicked the link because we're all curious cats. We want to know if we're exhibiting any of these signs. Others want to prove to themselves that they are not. Who knows you just might be. Try and read this piece with an open mind.            Rejection isn't a word anyone likes to hear, neither are the phrases "You just weren't good enough", " We're sorry but you didn't make the cut", "It's not you, it's me", " Sorry we're not hiring" These are all different ways to tell that you've been rejected. To be honest, rejection isn't a bad thing. When you get rejected, yes it means you've failed but it doesn't mean you'...

Home Is Not A Place, It's A Feeling

We all believe our homes to be,  Our safe space, Our nest, Our Haven, Our paradise, but people differ and may not always think like this. Why do you need a home? We all have our DEMONS, like it or not they're there. The sooner you realize they're haunting you the better.  Our demons are the trials and tribulations we go through every day. When we battle our demons we all need somewhere to retreat to, whether or not the battle has been won or lost. These demons can't get to us when we're home. As long as we stay home, there's no way in for them. When you're not battling demons You're conquering COMPANIONSHIP I don't just mean being married, but also the companionship of your brothers and sisters, your friends, your closest friends and let's not forget the BFF'S  There's this feeling we get when we're surrounded by those we love the most When we realize this is our home  We see that Home is not just a place, it...

10 Habits Of The Most Confident Person In The Room

The way they talk, the way they walk, the way they exhibit this amazing aura of high esteem when they step into a room. Who are they? Confident people  So how do you define self-confidence? In the simplest terms, It is a belief in oneself, the conviction that one has the ability to meet life's challenges and to succeed—and the willingness to act accordingly. Some people just have it,  others grow into it. How do they grow into it? What exactly is it that they do differently? Let's get into some habits of confident people. 1) THEY DON'T AVOID NEW CHALLENGES Have you ever wanted to try something new but fear held you back?  You've killed your dreams out of fear. Confident people acknowledge that fear is and would always be a natural part of the human experience. So they aren't scared to do difficult things or take up new challenges when the need arises. I've never met a confident person who runs away when the going gets tough, or when things seem scary...
