To Err Is Human, To Forgive, Divine

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear People that decided to click on the link,

“TO ERR IS HUMAN; TO FORGIVE, DIVINE
What does this statement mean to us? Does it speak to us? Do we learn lessons from it? Well honestly it should.
Nobody’s perfect and I mean nobody, anyone who believes he is, should be regarded as the most foolish human being to walk the earth.
I believe everyone is perfect in their own imperfections, impurities and most especially mistakes, everybody makes mistakes.

TO ERR IS HUMAN but is it necessary?

Whether we like to believe or not someone not making a mistake could be the worst mistake he’ll ever make. I once read somewhere that ‘a life spent making mistakes is better than a life spent doing nothing’
So I am telling everybody that happens to read this MAKING MISTAKES IS A GOOD THING it doesn’t matter how many you make it matters that the mistakes you make shape you into the better person you can be. It’s also wise to note that we learn more from other peoples mistakes so be watchful, patient and smart in every way possible.
So YES to err is human and it is Necessary, it is vital for survival.

TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE
I’m not going to begin to quote the bible or anything like that because that’s what most people will expect instead I’ll tell you for someone  to be divine that person has to let go of his humanly instincts because naturally as humans we are fuelled with many emotions some of which may over come us in times when our Divinity has to take charge in us ,emotions  such as anger, hate, greed, selfishness and many others.
So for one to forgive it means to go to a place that is higher than out humanly urge to keep malice or hold a grudge against someone, that place which is of greater wisdom, and which is beyond our lower minds.

All men posses this gift of divinity, most people don’t realize it, some take a life time before acknowledging that they do and others surprise us every day with such a beautiful attribute in their daily lives.

So this proverb spoke to me because lately I’ve been having so much doubts that the choices I’ve made have been grave mistakes but gradually I’m coming to terms that those ‘so -called’ mistakes having got me to a good place and I’ve learnt so much more than I could think of from them. I think these days we call it “luck” or most times cliche stories or movies call it “fate” and about forgiveness, I believe we need to take a deep breathe, close our eyes and tell ourselves whatever the person did to us, maybe he /she betrayed us or led us astray I AM READY TO FORGIVE.
IT'S WHAT MAKES US DIVINE.

All this came from me being bored at home, just after I watched Chief Daddy……oh what an inspiration it was because I’ve had writers block for quite a while.

The Candid Blogger.

    2. Wow... I'm impressed and proud this is the 1st piece of urs I'm reading and it's magnificent. Forgiveness is one of the hardest things to possess in this life and like you said we can only give it if we accept our divine side. I like how u didn't say forgive and forget cos forgetting is what makes the same type of action befall us again after forgiving. Not forgetting keeps the experience fresh in mind in hopes that such mistake never repeats itself again. Well said again on this topic.
      Cheers.

Just Checking in: Don't Stop the Grind, Keep PUSHing

Dear lazy Nigerian Youth, (I hope you felt the sarcasm)   I hope you've had a worthwhile week, I hope we're all praying for our country Nigeria.  This is just one of my check-ups to see how you're doing and to drop a small piece of positive thoughts. The last few weeks haven't been too good for some of us but regardless of the circumstances we still keep PUSHing on. To push has lots of meanings. Varying from compelling or urging someone to do something to exerting force on (someone or something) to move them away from oneself. There's another meaning that we may be familiar with. To PUSH is to pray until something happens. Today I urge you not to stop the grind and to keep pushing. PUSH in any way you can. Nigeria is bleeding, we need all the prayers we can get. No effort is too small or too large. Whatever it is you're doing, you've been doing or haven't started doing, I want you to know you're not alone. Don't stop the g...

5 Signs That You're Afraid Of Getting Rejected ( based on personal relationships )

Hey guys, I'm glad you're back here.        I'm really excited about this particular piece because in many ways it's really personal. It took me quite a while to get it done to this point and I had some help from so many people. I know most people clicked the link because we're all curious cats. We want to know if we're exhibiting any of these signs. Others want to prove to themselves that they are not. Who knows you just might be. Try and read this piece with an open mind.            Rejection isn't a word anyone likes to hear, neither are the phrases "You just weren't good enough", " We're sorry but you didn't make the cut", "It's not you, it's me", " Sorry we're not hiring" These are all different ways to tell that you've been rejected. To be honest, rejection isn't a bad thing. When you get rejected, yes it means you've failed but it doesn't mean you'...

Why We Compare Ourselves To Others and How To Stop

For as long as I can remember I have battled with comparison and I still continue to battle with it. I have compared myself to others in so many aspects of my life such as my academics, what clothes I have, the type of phone I'm using, how big the house I live in is, the kind of jewelry I wear and so many other aspects of life. I've always had this idea that mine had to be better than the guy or girl next door.  Comparing yourself to others doesn't make you a bad person neither does it mean it's a good thing to do. It's perfectly normal and it's part of life's challenges. Although comparison makes some of us feel better with ourselves, we forget that it's also short-lived and afterward we get this feeling of inadequacy, worthlessness, and overall unhappiness. So now I'm going to ask the million-dollar question.  Why do we constantly compare ourselves to others? 1. The belief that success looks a certain kind of way. We think that for you ...
